Ischboden-Hütte

The Ischboden hut is a small, simple and cozy mountain inn at 1400 meters above sea level, on the road to Grosse Scheidegg. From the upper Grindelwald glacier, the restaurant is in
about 40 minutes walk away.
In summer you can walk to us,  by bike or by postbus. The post bus stop (Alpenvogelpark) is right next to the restaurant.
In winter the Ischboden hut is on foot,
Reachable with snowshoes (Wetterhorn trail) or by sled. The road is cleared between the upper glacier and the Ischboden hut for sledgers and pedestrians. 
The hut is located opposite the Alpenvogelpark.
